Bob Knight came into the music industry right after World War II and watched instruments slowly make their way back into the music stores. He was hired by CG Conn and enrolled in their band repair school, which was filled mostly with former soldiers, as Bob recalled. The Conn Company asked Bob to help run their accessories division in San Francisco called Continental Music. He fell in love with the industry and later expanded his career into a road rep. Once he started traveling, he was hooked and stayed active in the music industry for over 40 years before his retirement. Along the way he collected many dear friends in music stores all over, who he felt happy to help and support whenever he could. His influence ran deep; nearly as deep as his passion.
