Bob Moses watched his dad on the workbench in the garage and asked if he could help out on small projects. His father was an electrical engineer who worked for 3M on several digital projects, and both father and son worked together on improving their own stereo equipment. After Bob graduated from McGill University in Canada as an electrical engineer, the two continued to work on projects together. Among their projects was taking the newly released CD players apart to see if they could improve upon the sound. In short, they did, and the technology they developed allowed them to establish their own audio company. Bob began attending the NAMM Show in 1988. He has become an important part of the NAMM family by providing training and presentations as well as encouraging and inspiring others in the audio community to participate in the show and it’s educational sessions.
