Pete McClelland
Pete McClelland teamed up with his wife to open a folk instrument music store in London in 1975. The idea was new and it was unclear if they would be successful, but they dedicated themselves to their customers and to the folk and bluegrass communities. Hobgoblin Music grew, and Pete felt a wholesale business could compliment the retail store and provide quality folk instruments to other retail stores throughout the world. As a result, in 1981, Gremlin Music was born. Over the years the couple has remained dedicated to the people and the instruments of roots music, to the point of running festivals and promoting special concerts.
