The MIDI Innovation Awards are presented each year with the support of The MIDI Association, Music Hackspace, and NAMM.
In September, the Memphis Music Hall of Fame celebrated its tenth year of inductions. Included in the 2022 class of honorees are Booker T. Jones and J.M. VanEaton, who are also part of NAMM’s Oral History Collection.

At The 2022 NAMM Show, Córdoba Guitars introduced its latest guitar to the world. The Stage is the company's first nylon string electric guitar and was made possible by the collaboration between Córdoba Guitars and Fishman Transducers.
